Call For Abstracts
 

ABSTRACT

Prospective participants are invited to submit abstracts of their papers related to symposium topics as mentioned.
 
 

Abstract Submission

Authors should submit their abstracts via e-mail at paper@igsth2009.com. Submit implies willingness to register at the symposium and present the contribution. All submissions should be in Word (.doc) formats and should be sent no later than
15 August 2008. The abstract must follow the rules and the maximum abstract length is 2 pages, including figures and tables, if needed. In case you have a preference for presentation (either oral or poster), please mention this at the time of submission of abstract.
 
Rules for Abstracts

The authors must comply with the following rules for the abstract:

  • The text will be published in English
  • Dimension of the page: A4
  • Margins (cm): Up, 2.5; Down, 2.5; Left, 2.5, Right, 2.5

The following format is to be followed while preparing the Abstract.

 

Topic:

When submitting your abstract please choose from the topics of the symposium, the one that better fits the content of your document and insert it before the title.

 

Title:

The title of the abstract should be in Time Roman Standard; size font 14, bold, normal letters; alignment left.

- Space 2 lines

 

Author(s):

Author of the article in the following order: [first name] [middle name] [family name (surname)]. Size font 10; for names use normal letters, for family name use capitals; alignment left. If more than one author, they must be identify by numbers which will correspond to their addresses below. Identification numbers are indicated as superscripts with right brackets.

- Space 1 lines

 

Address:

Address of the author(s). Size font 10, normal letters; alignment left. In the case of multiple addresses, the same identification number must be located before the address as superscripts with right brackets. Each address should be located on an individual line.

- Space 2 lines
 

Abstract:

Size font 12; alignment to block. [Length of abstract should be maximum 2 pages ].

- Space 1 line
 
 

Keywords:

Size font 12; alignment to block, maximum 5 words.

PAPER SUBMISSION

Paper must be submitted, after abstract acceptance, no later than 30 November, 2008 also via e-mail at paper@igsth2009.com . The paper must follow the guidelines for paper preparation and the maximum length of the paper is 10 pages. The size of the paper file must not exceed 4MB. The guidelines for preparation of paper can be found on the Symposium website.

 

POSTER PREPARATION

Poster presentation is limited to one poster per paper and the information on poster size and other relevant guidelines will be posted on the Symposium website.

 

PROCEEDINGS

During the Symposium, a book of abstracts will be distributed to the participants, together with the symposium proceedings, published in a CD-ROM.

 

COPYRIGHT

The copyright disclosure/Transfer Form can be downloaded from the website of the symposium. The form must be filled in, signed and post mailed to the physical address of the symposium secretariat. No article will be published without the signed copyright form. Send the signed Copyright Transfer Form by 30 November 2008 to:
